Don’t recognize a transaction? See a transaction twice? Billed for a wrong amount? Here's what to do.

This article will bring several common reasons as to why your Fijoya account charges might look different from what you thought you purchased.

Misunderstanding of final purchase price

Certain purchases may include additional fees such as VAT or shipping fees. Since these fees are commonly shown at the final stage of the checkout process, they can be overlooked.

To check if this was the case, you can compare the receipt sent to you by the vendor and the transaction amount listed in the Expenses tab of the Fijoya App.

To avoid this situation, we recommend always checking the price at the final stage of checkout before paying.

Technical error on the vendor’s side

In some instances, a vendor may experience technical errors in their transaction or billing records.

To check if this is the case, contact the vendor directly to inquire.

Credit card fraud

Fijoya takes all relevant security and privacy measures to ensure the safety of Fijoya cards. Nevertheless, if you see a transaction in your Expenses tab and you don't recognize it as one you have made, contact us immediately via chat with our support team or email at [email protected] so we can help determine the cause and correct the issue.
